Bandung Zoo was first opened in 1933 and has on display around 1500 animals from 200 species. The zoo is set on 14 hectares of land and the gardens and grounds have been kept in good order. Bandung Zoo is located around 10 - 15 minutes by taxi from the centre of Bandung. A taxi ride should cost around 10,000Rp - 15,000Rp depending on traffic.
