There are some very cool classy bars in Bali. There are plenty of cheap bars around Kuta selling cheap Bintang beers though over the last few years some very trendy beach clubs and rooftop bars have opened around Kuta, Seminyak and other areas of Bali. In the busy tourist areas you do not need to walk far to find a bar though here is our list of the best bars in Bali, with views and cool music. Ku De Ta Bar is located at the end of Jalan Oberoi Seminyak overlooking Seminyak beach with large sun chairs to sit back relax and enjoy the sunsets. Potato Head Beach Club is located along Jalan Petitenget overlooking Seminyak Beach with a swimming pool at the front of the club. They have a DJ playing music until 2am every night. Potato Head Beach Club has 2 bars and 3 restaurants including a fine dining French Restaurant located on the 2nd floor with great views of the beach and ocean, the Potato Head Restaurant serving snacks and light meals and a restaurant serving South East Asian cuisine.For more information and photos of Potato Head Beach Club click here.
Temple Lounge Bar close to Uluwatu - located on the rooftop of La Mare Restaurant at Karma Kandara Resort perched on the cliff tops over looking the ocean.
Velvet Beach View Lounge is the place to come in Kuta to watch the sunset. Located on Level 3 rooftop of the Beach Walk Shopping Centre on Jalan Pantai direct across from Kuta Beach. A very classy bar with lounges with great views over the beach and ocean. With food and a great range of drinks and cocktails. Stay after dark then step into Hypnotized Nightclub at the same venue for some of the best DJs playing tunes until 1am.
Hard Rock Cafˇ¦/b> Kuta - OK so one bar made our list which is situated in Kuta. Nothing fancy about Hard Rock Cafe in Kuta, just lots of fun, good music, good food and great atmosphere. The Hard Rock Cafe has 2 bars, the main bar facing Kuta Beach which is open till 1am and the centre stage bar located in the reception area of the Hard Rock Hotel which closes at midnight. Each have live bands playing 7 nights a week. A small bottle of Bintang beer costs 61,000Rp so a lot higher than the other bars in Kuta.
The Seven Rooftop Bar is located on the roof of the Kutabex Hotel, located directly across from Kuta Beach. The Seven Bar is one of the best bars to watch the sunset in Kuta. With live music every night from 7pm until 11pm.

Nammos Beach Club is located within the Karma Kandara Resort hidden away on the side of a cliff looking over the ocean close to Uluwatu. Nammos Beach Club was voted the Best Bar in Bali by Hello Bali magazine in 2008. We still think it is the Best Bar in Bali. For more information and photos of Nammos Beach Club click here.
SOS Super Club Anantara Resort Seminyak located on the 4th floor of the resort, the views from SOS Super Club are amazing, straight over Seminyak Beach and down all the way to Kuta. A DJ plays chilled our tunes most nights and a live band on Saturday night. BBQ night on Tuesday and Seafood buffet. There is free WiFi internet access. Skai Beach Club located at the Padma Resort Legian. A cool pool bar with great views over Legian Beach, a great place to watch the sunset. The Whacko Beach Club is a small beach front bar located at the top end of Tanjung Benoa, just north of Nusa Dua. A very relaxed bar with a small swimming pool out the front and plenty of water sports located at the beach front. Water sports include jet skiis, parasailing and the amazing Flyboarding.
