Not far from Puncak is an African style Safari park with lions, tigers, orangutan, zebras and giraffes - Taman Safari Park South of Puncak is the Cibodas Botanical Gardens, an extension to the Kebon Raya Botanical Gardens in Bogor. Here they have a collection of around 5000 species of high-altitude plants from around the world. West of Puncak is a small town called Cipanas, meaning hot water, which has nature volcanic springs here for therapeutic bathing.
