Scuba Diving Indonesia

Indonesia has some of the best scuba diving in the world. With over 17500 islands in Indonesia there are so many great dive locations.

With some of the most diverse marine life and some very special animals to be seen under the water.

Some of the special dive sites around Indonesia include the Bunaken National Marine Park, Lembeh Strights North Sulawesi which is often referred to as the best muck diving in the world, Raja Ampat are the remote islands off the coast of West Papua (formerly Irian Jaya) and the is great diving off Labuan Bajo in Flores island as well as not far from there Komodo and Rinca Island. Right in the very north off the coast of Sumatra is Pulau Weh which is increasing in popularity for scuba divers. Also the Mentawai Islands off the west coast of Sumatra has some great dive spots.

Off the cost of Nusa Penida, close to Bali you can see the amazing Manta Rays and the prehistoric looking Mola Mola fish.

The Gili Islands off the cost of Lombok is referred to as the Turtle Capital of the World. You always have a good chance to see turtles around the Gili Islands but we believe it is easier to see turtles in the Bunaken Marine Park in North Sulawesi.
